Ana Garcés Kiley - Taller Boricua at Centro Julía de Burgos
Ana Garcés Kiley was born in Colombia in 1974 and is an MFA graduate of Columbia University. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Wheeler Foundation Grant, (2007), the Kimbrough Award from the Dallas Museum of Art, (2003), the Joan Mitchell MFA Grant, (2000), National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts (1999), LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies Fellowship, (1998), and was a resident artist at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, New York in 2000. Garcés Kiley has had numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Concurrently to her show at Taller Boricua she is exhibiting in a solo show at Latincollector Gallery, New York. Ana Garcés Kiley lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
